Un-Entitled – Self Portrait. Portraits out of Context ~ a series to raise awareness of our privilege. Even when sometimes it feels as though we may not have privilege.

A Prayer for Syria was inspired by my two dear friends who were caught up in the Syrian civil war. Their lives had been torn apart by the upheaval.

“the unintentional or incidental damage affecting facilities, equipment, or personnel, occurring as a result of military actions directed against targeted enemy forces or facilities.”

Disparate comes from disparatus, from the Latin verb disparare, meaning “ to separate.” Disparare comes from parare, a verb meaning “to prepare.”
