The Art Trees of Oro-Medonte is a 2022 township led project. Following a call for artists and a juried competition 7 local artists were selected for the project.

There is much joy and learning born during the interconnectedness of community projects. This includes projects involving family and clients, as well as creative peers. Community has the capacity to feed us and lift us higher than we often realize. In this place of shared ideas we co-create in ways we cannot in isolation.

Twelve artists each led thirty minute mini workshops in the Queen Street Commons cafe in Kitchener, ON. The event was called Flirting With the Arts, and organized by fellow artist Meg Leslie.
