

Life Drawing at OMAH
Beginning in September 2025
Kathryn will be facilitating continuous sessions of life drawing at OMAH (Orillia Museum of Art & History) again this year.
Life drawing is Saturday mornings between 10am and 1pm, and will run in 6 week blocks. If you are interested in one of these sessions, please register on OMAH’s website as soon as possible.

Life Drawing
Join your instructor, artist Kathryn Kaiser, for OMAH’s 6-week life drawing class exploring the human form. Using nude and costumed models, participants will learn gesture drawing, anatomy, proportions and mass while trying different mediums such as charcoal, paint, ink and mixed media. Lessons also include using your non-dominant hand to draw, two-handed drawing techniques and blind contour drawings. Basic supplies are included, and participants are welcome to bring their favourite materials to work with.
Basic drawing materials (and easels) provided.
Cost
6-week session
MEMBERS = $110 + HST
GENERAL = $135 + HST
Drop in evenings
(first come, first served – please call in advance to see if there are any spots available)
